Introducing Xaris Project – A New Chapter in Our Curated Selection

We’re always searching for brands that challenge conventions and bring something truly unique to the world of design. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Xaris Project, a Los Angeles-conceived, Tokyo-produced label that explores the interplay of structure and fluidity through a chiastic (mirrored symmetry) design philosophy—embodied by the Greek letter “X.”

Led by anonymous designer K, Xaris Project seamlessly merges outerwear with eased tailoring, existing in an intermediate space where opposing elements converge. Crafted in collaboration with a small Tokyo-based team, the brand’s garments are made from premium Japanese fabrics, incorporating ergonomic details for refined functionality.

A defining feature of Xaris Project is its signature “broken cuffs”, a design inspired by the intersection of a triangle and circle, drawing from historic Japanese calligraphy. This detail reinforces the brand’s ethos of overlapping contrasts, where structured silhouettes meet effortless movement, and tradition intersects with modernity.

With its meticulous craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and conceptual depth, Xaris Project is a brand that speaks to those who appreciate innovation and intention in their wardrobe. We’re thrilled to carry this label and share its vision with you.

Featured Piece: The Shirt Jacket

Blending structured elegance with everyday versatility, the Shirt Jacket from Xaris Project is a refined take on leather outerwear. Crafted from smooth black steer leather, it offers a clean, streamlined aesthetic with a minimalist yet functional approach.

A semi-concealed horn button closure ensures a sleek vertical line when fastened, while the gently folded, slightly raised collar adds subtle structure. The 3D rear yoke, inspired by traditional outerwear, enhances the silhouette, while two slash pockets provide discreet functionality.

Fully lined for comfort, the working button cuffs allow for adjustable styling. The smooth steer leather construction makes this a perfect layering piece, offering a modern, polished look that seamlessly transitions between shirt and jacket.

With its precision tailoring and architectural details, the Shirt Jacket exemplifies Xaris Project’s philosophy—merging structure, utility, and refined craftsmanship.

Featured Piece: Hooded Smock Poncho

A standout piece from Xaris Project, the Hooded Smock Poncho reinterprets outerwear with a hybrid design that merges the practicality of a smock with the fluidity of a rain poncho.

Crafted from smooth black steer leather, this pullover features button-opening sides, a concealed quarter-zip front, and an A-line silhouette defined by its voluminous body and oversized sleeves. The stand-up collar, paired with a detachable, close-fit hood and chin guard, adds a structured contrast to the poncho’s flowing drape.

Lightweight and unlined, the steer leather creates a dynamic, angular movement, offering both protection and effortless wearability. Functional details like two zippered pockets along the abdomen ensure practicality without disrupting the clean, architectural lines.

This poncho perfectly embodies Xaris Project’s approach—where precision tailoring meets unrestricted form.
