Collection: The Viridi-anne

Founded in 2001 by designer Tomoaki Okaniwa, The Viridi-anne blends avant-garde aesthetics with a deep sense of nostalgia. Originally trained in painting at Tokyo Zokei University, Okaniwa taught himself pattern-making and sewing, shaping his unique approach to fashion. Since 2006, the brand has been showcased through exhibitions and installations in Paris.

Rooted in a monochromatic palette, The Viridi-anne embraces wabi-sabi, finding beauty in imperfection and transience. Its designs evoke a quiet yet powerful presence, existing beyond time and categorization. Simple yet unconventional, each piece carries a subtle tension, redefining classic silhouettes with a sense of disharmony and depth.
