Opened in the Fall of 2005, The Archive is a one of a kind boutique for men located in between Union Square and the Financial District in San Francisco. For a city known for its progressive thinking, advanced technology, creative food culture and diverse communities, a glaring lack of fashion options were apparent. We are here to fill that void by offering progressive, designer brands that are both Avant Garde and wearable. The designers we feature at The Archive are carefully curated and specialize in artisanal construction, experimental techniques and source the finest quality fabrics. This style is often referred to as “dark brands” or “black fashion” for using predominantly black and monochromatic color ways. We currently stock about thirty different labels, masculine and androgynous styles, imported mostly from Japan and Europe.
We invite you to stop in and check out what we have to offer and hope you will enjoy an unparalleled shopping experience in our humble little boutique.
