KLASICA takes its name from the word classic in Spanish and Italian, with designer Kohei Kawamura replacing the “C” with a “K” to form the brand’s distinct identity. When Kawamura founded the label, he believed that the search for timeless, classic garments would remain a constant source of inspiration—an idea that continues to shape the brand today.

Drawing from vintage clothing traditions across different cultures and eras, KLASICA blends historical references with a contemporary sensibility. The collections embrace natural materials and rich textures, allowing each garment to evolve over time and develop the character of a well-worn vintage piece.

Rather than following seasonal trends, KLASICA focuses on thoughtful construction and subtle reinterpretations of foundational materials and silhouettes. Each piece is developed with the intention of creating a lasting style—more akin to a work of craft than a passing fashion statement.
