Olive Ostrich Leg Nexo Biker Wallet

The Nexo Biker Wallet is a compact interpretation of the traditional chain wallet, constructed entirely by hand in the DARKNEEDLE San Francisco studio.

Despite its reduced proportions, the Nexo is one of the studio’s more involved pieces to produce. Each component is individually prepared, finished and hand-stitched, with particular attention given to the interplay of materials and textures throughout. Olive ostrich leg forms the exterior, paired with a smooth and textured Italian leather interior and carefully selected hardware.

The natural scale pattern of ostrich leg makes each cut inherently unique. For this piece, the placement of the leather was individually considered as part of the construction, resulting in a singular piece that cannot be exactly reproduced.

The interior features two card pockets and a zippered compartment for folded cash and coins, with an additional card pocket on the reverse. Each card pocket accommodates approximately one to two cards.

Finished with a YKK Excella zipper, PRYM Italy hardware, and a Nexo leather bike chain constructed from solid brass and horsehide.
